To Report Vandalism
In an effort to deter vandalism, the District proactively contracts with a security company to patrol various facility and park locations in addition to local law enforcement patrols. In the event of vandalism, Staff immediately removes or repairs the vandalism to try and reduce the impact on the public.
Costs associated with vandalism are definitely a concern. Each act of vandalism can end up costing hundreds or thousands of dollars. These funds are not budgeted for and detract from resources that could have been used otherwise.
