Justin Masters

  Justin is employed by the state of California as an Information Security Officer and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).  He was previously employed for 14 years at Intel in the area of microprocessor design automation, and is a veteran of the US Air Force, honorably discharged.  He has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and an Associates Degree in Electronics repair.

Justin has been a resident of El Dorado Hills since 1997, with his wife of 21 years and five children.    

Justin has been involved with a multitude of community involvements, even prior to moving here, which include co-leading a volunteer effort to restore Bertelsen Park’s swimming pool and as a volunteer at Brooks Elementary School on the PTA Technology Committee.  He has taught engineering/science labs for National Engineer’s Week at Brooks for 5 years.  He has provided volunteer computer support for several western slope churches and a Placerville genealogical library spanning 10 years.  He was involved as a City Council candidate and supporter of the EDH cityhood incorporation effort which narrowly failed in 2005.  Justin is currently the Director of Communications for the Sacramento Chapter of Information Systems Security Association (ISSA).
 Justin currently serves on the Board’s CC&R Committee, the Board’s Solid Waste Committee, and he is passionate in co-developing a Volunteer Advocacy Committee to provide volunteer projects and service for the benefit of El Dorado Hills.  His term of office will run through the year 2010.
